TRAINING GRANTS

Each year, AYP provides personal, financial support to current members who seek training that will directly contribute to their preparedness for more responsible positions in the YMCA. Grants of up to $1,000 are awarded for formal education courses leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree and/or specialized training programs. Applicants must have been an AYP member for the previous 12 months in order to qualify for a training grant. The total amount available for grants varies from year to year but is not less than $24,000.

Announcements regarding the training grant program for the year appear in the July and August issues of Perspective. Application forms (Adobe Acrobat PDF file) will be available from the AYP Web site from July 1.
